The Berlin SMITH Scholarship

The Berlin SMITH Scholarship will be awarded to two graduating Berlin students

who demonstrates the following qualities:

Service-Merit-Integrity-Truth-Honor (SMITH)

in honor of Robert "Smitty" Smith, a Berlin Graduate.

 

The scholarships will be in the amount of $1,000 to two graduating seniors that have attended Berlin High School for a minimum of two years and are planning to attend college or vocational training.

Applicants are required to write a 500 word essay that explains how they demonstrate the SMITH qualities stated above and submit at least one letter of recommendation from a non-relative.

 

The award will be presented to the winners  at their graduation ceremony.
